We recently had the pleasure of working with the University of Warwick to produce a short video showcasing their contribution to the UK economy and the region. The client wanted an impactful and creative approach that would resonate with their audience and communicate the university’s impact on the region in a clear and engaging way.

The video was intended to replace their 2018 Regional Impact video, and our team was excited to take on the challenge of producing an updated version that would surpass the previous one. We worked closely with the client to understand their vision, regional communication objectives, and themes, which included People, Economy, Communities, Culture & Sport, and Environment.

Our experienced production team came up with a concept that effectively communicated the university’s impact on the region using data from the London Economics (LE) assessment. We used case studies from the report to showcase how the university was driving regional socio-economic development, supporting local people from disadvantaged backgrounds, promoting sustainability, and more. To structure the video, we used the themes provided by the client and presented the data in a clear and concise way that would appeal to their target audience. We also incorporated a presenter-led approach, with a local personality presenting the video to add a personal touch that would resonate with viewers.

We took a creative and engaging approach to the video, using animation and graphics to bring the data to life. We worked with the client to ensure that the video was suitable for use across a variety of channels, including website, social media, presentations, events, and large-format digital screens.

The final video was a huge success, exceeding the client’s expectations and effectively communicating the university’s contribution to the region. Our client was delighted with the final result and praised our team’s attention to detail, creativity, and ability to effectively communicate their message. Overall, this project was a great success, and we were proud to have worked with such a prestigious university to showcase their impact on the region.
